MN State CX Championship
I don’t race much anymore, but when I do, it’s cyclocross. It’s fun, low key, and you can race at your own pace.
This weekend was the Minnesota State Cyclocross Championships! Thanks to Chris S. (race promoter and Appleman repair customer) for putting on such a wonderful race! The course was amazing and had a stair run up, deep sand pit, loose corners, hills, and a whole lot of twists and turns.
I didn’t place well (taking a hard digger didn’t help), but I had a lot of fun. Despite the crash, my Appleman CX frame is still as good as new!
While I’m by no means the fastest at mounting and dismounting… I’m pretty happy to have gained a few places at the barriers! Good technique is free speed and I hope to practice and improve by next years ‘cross season!
